I can’t connect to Sketch Mirror via wi-fi

If you can’t connect to Sketch Mirror over your Wi-Fi or network connection, here are some steps you should take:

First, make sure that it’s not a local network issue. To do so you can reboot your network devices (routers and/or APs) as well as your iOS and MacOS devices.

If this doesn’t fix the issue, make sure you are running the last versions of iOS, macOS, Sketch for Mac and Sketch Mirror for iOS.

If, after updating your software and devices, you’re still seeing the same issue, we recommend checking that your network allows Sketch Mirror traffic.

To do this, click on the IP address shown at the bottom of the Mirror popover. This should load the Mirror preview in your browser. Check that you can see your Artboards at this address on both your Mac and iOS device.

IP address
The IP address appears at the bottom of the Mirror popover

If you can’t view your preview at this IP address, you’re probably experiencing a network problem. Please make sure your router allows the required network traffic for Sketch Mirror to function.
